Exhaust blows of the downpipe on the 20/25 HP. are being dealt with by a reinforced flange. We have not received a recurrent complaint after this modification has been carried out.

Item No.6.

CLUTCH JADDERS AND NON-STOP.

The fitting of the new liners and oil catcher overcomes this trouble. All future cars have got this modification.

1.WJ. recurrent, was an exceptional case. This was thoroughly gone into, and it was assumed that at some period acid fumes had got into the clutch casing. W. ventilated the clutch casing, and after polishing the rusted parts, coated them with lanoline.

Item No.8.

SLIPPER DRIVES.

The fitting of the modified centre plate should prevent recurrent troubles at Depots. The present production has this modification fitted, no further modifications are in hand.

Item No.9.

BOILING COMPLAINTS.

Modifications to radiators are still being tried out. There should be less complaints with the radiators now being fitted with dents in the tubes, and the fitting of the rubber fan belt which keeps the fan at a constant high efficiency.

Item No.10.

IGNITION COILS.

This complaint is considerably reduced. The coils now fitted are giving good results. We have not received any recurrent complaint.

Item No.11.

SERVO TROUBLES.

Servos fitted with cotton duck material are giving more satisfactory results. We are trying other materials to obtain if possible, more consistent results.
