-13- (2) Adaption of spring drive (Wraith type) to isolate cam wheel and shaft coupled with distributor and oil pump from the torsional oscillation of the crank-shaft. (3) Intermediate between design of more compact combustion chamber and existing cylinder head an experiment is to be tried whereby the cores of the present pattern can be modified to give a considerable increase in what we have found to be vital, namely the throat area. (4) Throughout the tests the induction system has only been a 'mock up' and now we are starting to develop the Duplex Stromberg system. Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/Swdl.{Len H.
