We send herewith a copy of Leaflet No.7/40/50 - "Tyre Replacements" - dealing with the recommendation to use the 'Silent Tread' tyre. A copy of this leaflet should be inserted in all copies of both the July 1927 and the No.4 editions of the Instruction Book in future before issuing. Will Sn.{Mr Sanderson} please see that sufficient copies are forwarded to Sales to enable them to circularise chassis owners since the beginning of Series C2, when the 21" well-base rims first became standard. A copy of the Leaflet should also be inserted in the March 1926 edition when this is issued for chassis after Series C2, i.e. to owners having cars with 21" well-base rims. BY/N.W. | ||
