With reference to Wor.{Arthur Wormald - General Works Manager}2/M.24.6.33. we are releasing instructions for material for all the units to be exactly similar to P.2. series with the following exceptions :- (1). Slight modifications to carburetter air intake. (2). Crankshafts with dowels for locating balance weights. (3). Strengthened central main bearing and stronger main bearing caps. (4). Vibrator control type dynamo. (5). Modified petrol tank filler cap to prevent spilling. (6). Lightened floats for carburetter. (7). It is proposed, but not definitely settled, to introduce automatic controls for the hydraulic shock dampers. BY/Cgh.{W Clough} | ||
