SPECIAL SHAPED INSTRUMENT BOARD. E.A.C.II.
I have told Da.{Bernard Day - Chassis Design} that it is not possible for him to have the central positioned instrument case, shaped roughly like a lozenge, on "V" Series; He agreeswith this, but thinks they ought to have it on "W" Series.
In order to make this possible, it will be necessary for an Instrument Board of the type referred to to be fitted to a car and submitted to Sales, if and when such an action is safe and practicable.
I am rather inclined to think that possibly the best thing to do would be to make up a set of instruments in the case, and send same along to Sales as representing our proposal, asking whether they have any criticisms to this scheme of grouping the instruments in one central case being fitted to "W" Series.
