X1775 To H.T. D.{John DeLooze - Company Secretary} J.R. Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} Sy. T.M.S. B.O.P. Re MAIL. The following memoranda has this morning been circulated at Conduit Street. Will you please arrange accordingly? URGENT " Please inform all concerned in your Department " accordingly:- " " During the railway strike, Post Office mails " will be very irregular. " " Therefore duplicate copies of all correspondence " which is posted to Derby will be sent in a bag on a " car which will leave Conduit Street at 3 p.m. daily. " " Under these circumstances, correspondence will " be posted to Derby as usual. " " Duplicates of all such correspondence should be " with Sgt. Hamlin not later than 2.45 daily. " " All such duplicate copies should be marked " "Duplicate" at the head of each sheet. " " The envelopes containing the duplicate copies to " go by car to Derby should be marked "Duplicates" and " have a blue cross marked on the front, from corners " to corners.
