To E.{Mr Elliott - Chief Engineer} x308 Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Swdl.{Len H. Swindell}11/KW.10.12.35. Ph.III (Duplex Stromberg Carburetter). In reply to E/PSN.1/MN.22.11.35, we have tested out the riser between the induction pipe and the carburetter to Rm.{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}5, with and without water heat. We find that at low speeds full throttle there is a definite improvement in the distribution by having the riser heated. In our mock-up system we do not experience any air locking in the riser when filling up the engine. Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Swdl.{Len H. Swindell} | ||
