Ph.III (Duplex Stromberg Carburetter).

In reply to E/PSN.1/MN.22.11.35, we have tested out the riser between the induction pipe and the carburetter to Rm.{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}5, with and without water heat.

We find that at low speeds full throttle there is a definite improvement in the distribution by having the riser heated.

In our mock-up system we do not experience any air locking in the riser when filling up the engine.
