COPY. MEMORANDUM NO. 4267. Bt{Capt. J. S. Burt - Engineer}17/LH{Mr Haworth}26.11.28. Copies to: CX.{Major Len W. Cox - Advertising Manager} EWT. N. P.S. Douglas Hamilton, Esq., Riverhall, Wadhurst, SUSSEX. 47-UF - del. com. 13.1.28. This owner says he is quite satisfied with his car. Past experience shows that this state of affairs seldom obtained with his Silver Ghost cars. Engine has just been decarbonised by W. A Windover open touring body is fitted with much polished aluminium and nickel plate. Steering wheel and instruments on dash are ivorine finish, - a rather sporting and very flashy looking car. Tyres 33 x 6.75 Goodyear said to be reasonably silent. We were interested in Mrs. Douglas Hamilton's description of the efficiency of the Petrolex fire extinguisher fitted to the running board, and an ammeter by the Central Manufacturing Co., of Walsall, which registered the state of charge obtaining in the battery at any time. It was said to be imperative that the ammeter should not be in circuit with the dynamo at any time. Possibly Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} will be interested in these accessories. Bt.{Capt. J. S.
