Dear Sir,

I am desirous of obtaining a position on your staff, in whatever capacity you may think fit, and should be obliged if you would consider my qualifications.

I am 26 years of age with a Central School education. I have just finished 3 years apprenticeship with a firm of General and Automobile Engineers, during this time I have been under the personal supervision of the Proprietor, whom I may say has been invited to become a Member of the Institute of Automobile Engineers. Although this was a small concern its business was very varied, and the knowledge and experience I have picked up is equally varied, having passed through the Engineering Shop and Repair Garage. I also attended Day and Evening classes in Engineering and Constructional Details & Calculations of Private and Commercial Vehicles, and am at present taking
