Dear Mr.Leslie, Thank you for your letter of the 21st. I am sorry I was not in when you 'phoned at 10.30 this morning but I had gone down to the Shock Absorber works first. When I 'phoned you at 12 you were not available. However, we have sent you a wire asking you to return the shock absorbers to us as we have arms on order, and should be ready to machine tomorrow; it is possible then, that by working overtime, we can get these away to you this weekend so that you can have them on Monday morning. I am somewhat concerned by the fact that you are putting medium sized shock absorbers on the rear of the P.111. This car would certainly be much better with the large size. Unfortunately, at the moment we are not in a position to let you have the large size dash-controlled as we have no pattern made for these. If you would like a pair making up we will have a pattern made immediately and get you to make castings for us. They could then come over here to be machined and fitted up. Yours sincerely, pp. THE GORDON ARMSTRONG PATENT SUSPENSION CO.LTD. Gordon Armstrong | ||
