Chassis 22-G-V.{VIENNA} Will you please fit to the above chassis a servo to the following specification :- (1) Latest experimental splined lining type as on 21-G-IV incorporating - (a) 6 Spring rings to Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}1803. (b) Positive lock for bolts holding spring rings as on attached Rm.{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}37. (c) RAD-13 linings which will be supplied by Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/FJH.{Fred J. Hardy - Chief Dev. Engineer} (2) Floating cams to Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}1631 to the latest Ex drawings, 35° angle. (3) Altered brake pedal stop as on 6-B-IV to Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}2180. (4) Swinging arm and disc type damper to N.Sch.4453. The servo removed from 4-B-IV and at present in the shop can be used if modified to incorporate the above features. It should also be made sure that the clearances conform to the latest drawings. If it is not possible to prepare the swinging arm and damper in time, then these can be removed from 3-B-IV.
