Replying to Sgl/El.2.38., we see no reason why 6.B.IV should not run to Mx{John H Maddocks - Chief Proving Officer}'s recommended schedule when it has completed 10,000 miles at Chateauroux. If at the end of this running, however, it is decided to standardise the overdrive gearbox for the last half of 'M' Series, a definite time will have to be set for completing 15,000 miles, so that the results of the tests are available before we are too heavily committed on production.
