Dear Sirs,

Thank you for your letter of the 29th ult., with reference to moulded seat backs which have now come to hand.

We appreciate the difficulty of forming these without proper dies, and while the backs you have made up for us are not quite what we require for the matter of our experiment, we think they will be reasonably satisfactory.

Unfortunately you have only sent us three, and we shall be requiring four, however, we shall probably be able to improvise something for the 4th seat.

We notice that these are made up with embossed board, it may be that you have used this as being the only thing available, normally we should like them made in plain board.
