W.A. Robotham Esq.,
Messrs. Rolls-Royce Ltd,
Derby.

Dear Robotham,

I am sorry there was a misunder-standing about your visit. We should have been pleased to see you in any event, but my brother was away ill with a cold so that it would have been little use your coming.

I have booked Thursday, the 26th, and asked him to let you know if he cannot manage it - it seems the only day we can fix before Whitsun.

I may be going away on the 25th until Whitsun, but even if I cannot be there perhaps you would like to see my brother, although I would like to have seen you as well if it could be managed.

Yours sincerely,

S.B.Wilks.
