When we sent the above standardisation sheet through to Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} we stated on the covering memo that, in arriving at the difference per car we have taken into consideration the cost of the Double Locking Device type Hubs; it is this factor which accounts for the increased cost stated on the standardisation sheet. The decreased cost for 5 Well-Base Wheels and 4 Semi-High Pressure Tyres is £5-13-6 per chassis. The increased cost for one set of Hubs of the Double Locking Type is £6-10-4 per chassis; giving a nett increase of 16/10 (say 17/-). My/Rb.{R. Bowen} | ||
