Tests to be carried out on 12 Dubilier made condensers which we have received to enable us to devise some satisfactory test with the object of overcoming the failures on chassis after passing through the routine production test, the condensers to be divided into four groups of three each, according to the numbers on sheet herewith. Group A.{Mr Adams} These condensers tobe run on test rig under normal conditions for four hours. If no failures occur, battery volts to be increased to 16 and test repeated. Group B. This group to be put through the ordinary routine production test, i.e. 10 minutes at 400 volts with for trial of capability of holding a static charge, after which capacities to be determined. (Just within limits). Secondly, these condensers to be placed on running test as described for Group A.{Mr Adams} Group C. 1. These condensers to be put through ordinary routine tests as described for group B. 2. These condensers to be subjected to still Contd, | ||
