X7090 To B. from Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} c. to Wor.{Arthur Wormald - General Works Manager} Hsll/LG12.11.28 'SS{S. Smith}' ROCKER COVER. We should like the modification on the latest type rocker cover which has just gone into production for the Phantom applied to the 'SS{S. Smith}' engine. These modifications consist of inserted felt washers where the lid{A. J. Lidsey} fits on the cyl. block and springs under the thumb screws so that when the thumb screws are tightened down on the studs the cover is held down by the spring pressure. The covers should be made in the standard material and not the magnesium alloy. Would you please instruct these covers for the SS.{S. Smith} engine. Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} | ||
