We are sending you, under separate cover, clutch parts returned to us through Car Mart by the above owner who in a letter to The Car Mart says-

"On Saturday, the 12th, I failed to get home in my car due to the reasons set out in the account. Inasmuchas I have about completed 10,000 miles, I am wondering if this is the life of the clutch plates in a modern Bentley.

As you may like to follow up this matter, I am sending you the metal plate that has been replaced and you will no doubt observe its condition. I am also sending you one ring and what remains of the other which may also be of interest.

Since my former experience with this car, which is not already forgotten, I think to relate some in the Motor papers would not be a bad idea!

Owner also includes details of an account of the expense he incurred in having the car attended to by a firm or garage at Basingstoke.

He has not so far made a claim for repayment of all or part but we should like your views of the charges against the probability of his doing so.

We should also like your report on the parts returned.
