BY.{R.W. Bailey - Chief Engineer} FROM DA.{Bernard Day - Chassis Design} C. to SG.{Arthur F. Sidgreaves - MD} HS.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} E.{Mr Elliott - Chief Engineer} 25HP. FRONT AXLE. DA{Bernard Day - Chassis Design}2/M15.1.32. X.5420 X5420. Herewith we send N.sch.3411. shewing the proposed method of carrying the oil connection through the brake carrier plate to avoid the assembling difficulties that GWH{George W. Hancock - Head Chateauroux}, complains of. The present scheme was devised when there was a drip plug used for the side and cross steering levers. When this was removed the old pieces were kept on to a large extent. It is suggested that it might be revised to make it a little less awkward to get the connection together satisfactorily.
