Dear Mr. Aspin,

Thank you for your letter of 23rd. May. together with the photograph of your valve, which is of considerable interest.

I was sorry to have to put off the visit to your Lab. yesterday, but we have stopped our development work to get the last ounce out of production in view of the exceedingly serious situation in France.
