sure on reflection, you will agree is quite an impossible position for us to adopt, because, as Motor Car Manufacturers, our Cars must be capable of being used under either conditions without alteration other than possible adjustment of Shock Absorbers. The modern use of a Motor Car is for all purposes and they are not kept for use separately in town or country, as may have been the case formerly.

As a basis for discussion in regard to Spain, we would suggest 10% stiffer in front, 5% stronger at the back, for all Cars - and the same passenger and luggage allowance as made for British Cars.

Whatever is settled and agreed in regard to Spain, would, we believe, be applicable to quite a number of other Continental countries who are at present being given the 20% stiffer springs.
