Prop. Shaft.
This is very light, with small needle bearing mechanics joints.

Steering.
Is of small and light construction, having small box.

Gearbox.
3-speed central change, with small gearbox, synchromesh and not very efficient.

Exhaust System.
This is very small, too noisy for R.R. standard, bolted to inside of chassis frame member, insulated by rubber washers.

Radiator Shell.
Of large dimensions with small capacity matrix.

Engine.
Mounted on rubber, very flexible and smooth running. Has a very objectionable amount of fan noise. Side valve type of 21.6 HP.

CONCLUSIONS.
Whilst the chassis has every appearance of a weight-saving campaign, the body and component parts are extremely heavy compared with R.R. figures, and could in many places have been reduced in weight without detriment to the strength.

The rigidity is undoubtedly obtained by the method of fixing to the chassis, and the solid construction of the parts.
