Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer} To Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Rm.{William Robotham - Chief Engineer} from Sg.{Arthur F. Sidgreaves - MD} Copy to Wor.{Arthur Wormald - General Works Manager} E.{Mr Elliott - Chief Engineer} BY.{R.W. Bailey - Chief Engineer} Mr. Bn.{W.O. Bentley / Mr Barrington} Floorboard & Dashboard Insulation. Sg{Arthur F. Sidgreaves - MD}23/E25.2.35 Thanks for Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Rm.{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}10/KW.23.2.35. I note that for the reasons given the car will not be available for a week or two. I am very anxious to see and try it so should be glad if you would let me know as soon as it is available. You mentioned in your former memo. that you proposed fitting a similar scheme to Bn{W.O. Bentley / Mr Barrington}'s car but I have since learnt that his car has the rubber engine mounting, although at present it is not operating as it has not the proper pedal scheme, but it certainly seems as if it would be better to select some other Bentley car to which to fit the floorboard and dashboard scheme. Otherwise it will be impossible to tell what the result of the latter is on a standard Bentley. Sg.{Arthur F. Sidgreaves - MD} | ||
