FROM THE FACTORY'S SPECIAL REPRESENTATIVE

Friday
26th January,
1934.

G.W.Hancock, Esq.,
Experimental Department,
Messrs. Rolls-Royce Limited,
DERBY.

Dear Mr.Hancock,

Thank you very much for your letter of the 24th instant.

I note that the tyres in France were too worn to be sent to Inchinnan, and that you are sending tyres which show signs of similar wear from Derby. When our Technical Department at Inchinnan have examined them thoroughly, they will send you a report on the matter, but, from what Mr.Robotham told me, and in view of the fact that this peculiar tread wear is confined to the front axle, I cannot help thinking it may be due to the angle of the king pins, but of course, when our Technical Experts have thoroughly examined the tyres, they will, no doubt, be able to discover the cause of this trouble.

Again many thanks,

Yours sincerely,

Rothes-
