(2) Customer's No. The surface of the commutator was in good condition, the segments being evenly discoloured and polished. There was only a slight blackening along the trailing edges. The brush surfaces were good, and only a small amount of brush dust was deposited on the end-bracket and holders. Throughout the test, the output was maintained satisfactorily.
