Dear Sirs,
Attention : Mr. R.{Sir Henry Royce} M.{Mr Moon / Mr Moore} Child
With reference to the interview which you kindly gave our Mr. H.{Arthur M. Hanbury - Head Complaints} W. Irving recently, we understand from him that the main objection to our product being fitted as equipment in Rolls Royce engines, is the fact that our plugs are not made in Great Britain.
For your information, we are enclosing a photograph of our factory and would advise we are at present in production. Immediately we are officially advised that Champion Plug Types NA.{Mr Nadin}8 and LB.8 are approved by your Engineering Department, we will then take up this question with a view to manufacturing these two types in our English plant.
Trusting you will favour us with this information at an early date,
We are,
Yours truly,
CHAMPION SPARKING PLUG COMPANY LIMITED.
MANAGING DIRECTOR.
