RUBBER ENGINE MOUNTING. +7005

The first sets of sandwich engine feet were built up with sheet rubber obtained from Messrs. Crumps, Derby. Since then we have apparently been using some sheet rubber bought from The Leyland Co. which is not of such good quality as the original supply from Messrs. Crumps. We suggest that in view of the fact that the engine feet will be expected to run for indefinite periods without attention, the best quality sheet rubber should be used.
The sample rubbers supplied by The Leyland Co. appear to be under size so that this will provide an opportunity for asking for a better quality.
We admit that we should have pointed out the alteration in quality from the original sample earlier, but we were not aware that the original supply of 5-ply rubber had been exhausted.
