Contd. -2- EFC {E. Fowler Clarke - Electrical Engineer} 3/T14.6.22. 7. CONTACT POINTS. Method of fixing -. As already contained in our instructions EFC {E. Fowler Clarke - Electrical Engineer} 1/T19.4.22 regarding the different method of fixing the contact points to the levers suggested by Messrs. Johnson Matthey, and suggesting that we be supplied with one lever with each kind of fixing for comparative test. You will remember that these levers require fitting with bakelite rubbing blocks. There were 7 levers in all handed to you, three of one kind, three of another, and one of a third. 8. GOVERNOR. You have complete and final instructions for the governor mechanism with the exception of the controlling spring. a test of which is necessary to prove this spring satisfactory as up to the present it has only been calculated by the D.O. On receiving the ignition unit, our first concern will be with regard to the performance of this governor. EFC. {E. Fowler Clarke - Electrical Engineer} | ||
