Dear Mr.Reid,

Many thanks for your letter of May 5th. We should be pleased to see you at the Factory on July 5th.

I should consider it a favour if you would confirm that you are coming on this date about a week before you actually arrive, so that we may make sure that we are ready for you.

If it would be any convenience for you to stop over-night in Derby, we should be pleased to arrange for you to be put up.
