S/W....EW. c. to Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Rm.{William Robotham - Chief Engineer} RECEIVED SEP 30 1930 HS{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} Y4 (1) C14/C29.9.30. Re SIR ROBERT HADFIELD. By/Cghl/G27.9.30 I note the position in regard to these extra Hartford shock absorbers and that it is necessary to fit them both front and rear. As anticipated, Sir Robert telephoned me and wants us to bear the cost of these. I do not see why we should do so, but as soon as I get the cost figures, which I note you have instructed for, I will go into the matter again with Sir Robert. Probably we may get him to go halves with us. Meantime we note the car is coming to you today. Please proceed with the work, and we must fix the charges afterwards C. | ||
