Attention: C. T. Salt Esq.

Dear Mr. Salt,

I have just had a further communication from The Bendix Aviation Corporation, with regard to a twin updraught carburetter, and they write as follows:-

" As you know, the AAV type carburetor is one of our most recent designs and we do not have a twin updraft of this same design.

" We do have, however, the UUR-2, which is a twin 1-1/4" updraft. Up until recently this carburetor was considered obsolete; however, one of our customers asked us to bring it back in production with certain modifications to suit their requirements and the production they give us is large enough to warrant our doing so. We feel that the UUR-2 carburetor may be just about what Zenith are asking for.

" We are enclosing two each prints A-15192 and A-17972 covering UUR-2 carburetors."

Unfortunately up to the moment the drawings have not come to hand but they will probably come by a later mail.

If you think this carburetter is satisfactory I shall be very pleased to cable for two of these to be sent over as soon as possible.

Trusting you are keeping well, and with kind regards, I remain,

Yours sincerely,

TLT/GD
