1 5009 GWH.{George W. Hancock - Head Chateauroux}from Rm.{William Robotham - Chief Engineer} Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}15/R.27.11.36. We attach copy of telegram we have sent to Hamilton. On the P.III we are being forced to use very thin oil to avoid tappets sticking in cold weather. Though we intended that 6-B-IV should run the last 15,000 mil test on thin oil, we observe that it actually ran on Castrol XL. 22-G-V will give us an opportunity of getting results under the conditions which might apply to the customer, i.e., after considerable mileage on ordinary oil.
