Dear Sir,

Re: Bentley 5 - 8.B.5.

As already agreed the body and wings etc. of 8.B.5. will be sent to you in a few days for inspection after its 50,000 miles test, and for repair and renovation.

We have decided to have the car repainted in a shade of jewelescent grey to the pattern herewith. (Nitro Velspar - Goodlass Wall & Co. - Persian Grey 5047/7).

You will recall that it was agreed that a super-imposed chromium moulding will be added, and that small running boards of the Ripple design be fitted. The boards will be painted and fitted with rubber strips in metal channels.

We believe it is intended to send you the chassis for remounting the body as soon as the former is re-conditioned.

We propose sending with the chassis suitable bonnet fittings of the latest design to enable you to produce a new bonnet complete. The design of bonnet and catches will be that given you for production B.5. but you will recall that 8.B.5. has the narrower bonnet at rear. Suitable scheme will be sent to you and the chassis, radiator and bonnet valance strips provided with the requisite attachments.

Cont'd.....
