| To By.{R.W. Bailey - Chief Engineer} from Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Les.{Ivan A. Leslie} Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Les.14/KT. 25.9.33. BENTLEY CENTRE RADIATOR MOUNTING LeC.3470. Referring to our Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Les.13/KT.27.6.33. where we instructed that the spring EB.818 should replace the rubber for production, we now find that the choc length of the spring is limiting the movement of the radiator. In order to prevent radiator movement on the road and failure of the radiator control studs, the radiator must be given as much movement as possible. Will you please therefore see that the choc length of the spring does not limit the radiator movement. We see no reason why the adjusting washer as shewn on LeC.3470 should not be omitted.
