„I have made an examination and test of the BICOLOUR Antidazzle an fog-penetrating device. In the majority of instances, this type of invention has been designed with almost entire ignorance of the circumstances under which most motorists are driving.

The prevention of dazzle is not difficult if illumination is reduced, but in the BICOLOUR apparatus attention has been paid to the particular direction at which rays may be scattered to strike the eye of the driver during deflections by the car from its normal course.

The result is highly satisfactory and although coloration does not materially effect the amount of light transmitted the patterning of the discs which are inserted into the ordinary headlight is such that the road illumination is in many cases actually improved rather than diminished by the lack of dazzling rays. There can be no doubt that this invention must add to the security of road users and, in case of fog, that driving can be carried on under conditions very much better than those obtainable by ordinary dipping or the use of colour strainers olone. I have formed a high opinion of the BICOLOUR device.
