Herewith we return to you dynamo WD.{Mr Wood/Mr Whitehead}45.M. with the modified pole pieces and armature to commutator connections. We have made the necessary tests of this machine and find everything to be O.K. It is understood of course that the output curve of this machine does not satisfy our present production specification for machines without this modification. We have, however, modified this specification of inspection and test to incorporate the altered figures, calling this "Version 4", and we attach a copy of this so that you may work to it in the case of each machine to which has been made this dual modification.
