To By.{R.W. Bailey - Chief Engineer} X 5370 Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Gry.{Shadwell Grylls}17/KW.1.3.34. Servos - 20/25 and Bentley. We want to be able to do away with the driving pins on the ordinary type servo as well as on the direct to all four wheels servo. We shall be glad if you would therefore issue modifications to G.L.609, incorporating the corrugated driving plate shown on N.Sch.3971. When we first started using servos of the fully floating type, we asked you to instruct linings in S.3914 material. We have since had to abandon this material owing to squeaks, and have returned to RAD.13 for all types of servo. Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/H.{Arthur M. Hanbury - Head Complaints} Grylls. | ||
