To RG.{Mr Rowledge} From Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} c. to EY. Nor. c. to RIC. X4003 HS{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}3/LCSO.6.27. CAMSHAFTS FOR F.11. X4003 / X3872 Tests with the longer duration cams shew that the advantage to be gained from this will only be apparent when the max. revs. are above 2500 r.p.m. With the present valve gear we cannot increase the max. speed above 2500 r.p.m. We therefore recommend that the standard camshafts are proceeded with for the engines on order.
