SpectreCodename for Phantom III.

This is to confirm our conversation with you that we have to demonstrate the SpectreCodename for Phantom III to Sg.{Arthur F. Sidgreaves - MD} at the end of next week, and should therefore like only the work to be carried out which will enable the car to be out of the shop by Thursday evening next, the 25th inst. The following is a suggested programme :-

(1) Replace the existing engine with the engine on the test bed.
(2) Fit the gearbox now in the Vulture, at the same time fitting the new SpectreCodename for Phantom III gearbox in the Vulture.
(3) Fit the stiffer brake shoes, to N.Sch.4214/4218.
(4) Fit the scheme for reducing the sponge in the brake mechanism, N.Sch.4198/4202.
(5) Fit the shorter bottom links to the front suspension, N.Sch.4223.
(6) 30° servo cams.
(7) Re-line the clutch with Borg & Beck material.
(8) Remove the vertical link between the pedal shaft and the cross in the frame. Fit a vertical link between the pedal shaft and the engine. This will have to be an Exptl. piece.
(9) Fit the 18½" diameter steering wheel ordered in the attached memo: E/JNR.{Charles L. Jenner}1/HP.6.10.34.
(10) Fit the hardest rubbers available to the engine mounting, both front and rear.
