1158 Experimental Dept. Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/Std.12/MH.{M. Huckerby} 31st. October 1938. Messrs. Dunlop Rubber Co. Ltd., Fort Dunlop, Erdington, BIRMINGHAM. Dear Sirs, We are anxious to obtain for experimental purposes some very flexible rubber or rubber and canvas corrugated hose to use for air ducting (for ventilating and heating purposes), and the diameter required is 3/4" internal, although we may also need some 1 1/4" and 1 1/2" hose later. The type of hose we are thinking of is similar to that used on some vacuum cleaners, but is not braided. Will you please let us know whether you can supply anything of this sort - the length we should want initially is 12 feet. Yours faithfully, for ROLLS-ROYCE LTD. | ||
