AXLE.
At my request Paris are returning the offside and nearside oil seals taken from the axle of the above car. You will remember that we had leakage from one side of the car and the oil in the axle practically disappeared.
I believe that they are making the oil seals for my attention but as they refer to Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/Gry.{Shadwell Grylls}, it is just possible that they may come direct to the Experimental Department. If so, I would like to have an opportunity of examining same with you. If, on the other hand, they come to me, I will see that you are in at the discussion.
