Primary winding resistance = .66 " -------- Primary winding consists of 4 layers of .024 D.S.C. wire 63 turns per layer. Total 252 turns. Length of winding 2⅛" It is insulated from the core by means of a manilla paper tube .015" thick! -------- Core consists of 173 pieces of .036" Iron 3¾" long and turned over at bottom end. -------- Secondary winding consists of 52 layers of .005" enamelled wire 309 turns per layer, length of winding 1⅞" 16068 turns (enamel .0005"). overall dia: of coil 1¹⁵⁄₁₆" " length of coil 2¼" (paper). 3 layers of .001" oiled paper between every layer. -------- Mica tube between secondary and primary .015 x 2¼" long e-------- step up ratio 63.8 Contd.
