X.3036 - WATER PUMP TO SUPERSHEET E.12628 -
ENGINES 1001 TO 1100.

This experiment has been tested on the "Eagle"
"E" Experimental Engine and consists of a pump with a
four bolt flange in place of a two bolt flange (also
air cock with locking device reported upon under X.3064).

The pump was found to be satisfactory on test.

The alteration was to prevent the ears on the two bolt
flange scheme from breaking off.
