X636 44616 With reference to my BJ/Py2/D29.1.24, we should be glad to hear if there is anything further to report on this matter. The present position is that Standardisation Sheet No. 25, although signed by R.{Sir Henry Royce} and CJ. is held up here pending a decision as to whether any one of the schemes submitted by R.{Sir Henry Royce} for further experimental purposes is to be adopted. EP.{G. Eric Platford - Chief Quality Engineer} saw no objection to the scheme being temporarily used by America (EP{G. Eric Platford - Chief Quality Engineer}8/H.20.12.23), but if there is anything definite decided we should like to be able to advise America. BJ/Py. 4081 | ||
