Re ENGINE OILS FOR CONTINENTAL USE.

Referring to BY/SB.{Mr Bull/Mr Bannister}2/MG.7.3.39 and Depot Sheet No. BY.6; we would suggest that we issue a leaflet reading as follows :-

Use of Light Engine Oils.

When the car is likely to be driven hard, as on Continental roads, the use of a viscosity 20 engine oil should be avoided.

This would face the page giving "Recommended Lubricants" on which appears a statement that a viscosity 20 oil may be used if it is found difficult to start the engine in cold weather.

Will you please let us know if you approve.

N.W.
