Dear Minchin,

Thank you for your letter of the 12th. March.

It will only take the Service Station a short time to remove your cylinder head and check up wear in the bores.

I know it is horrible to think about one of our products requiring re-boring under 40,000 miles, but we know from experience that this is necessary in certain exceptional cases.

I hope, however, that in your case the diagnosis may be incorrect.
