To BY. {R.W. Bailey - Chief Engineer} from E. {Mr Elliott - Chief Engineer} c. to Hs. {Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} X4410 E8/G19.9.21. X.4410 - RE GOSHAWKAero EngineCodename for 20HP Car / Aero Engine after KestrelAero Engine 11. DISTRIBUTION BOARD. With reference to your memo BY2/P15.9.21, it was decided some months ago in discussion with Mr. Royce down here, to make the GoshawkAero EngineCodename for 20HP Car / Aero Engine after KestrelAero Engine 11. distribution box in bakelite in the manner you now suggest. While I have been away ill, however, this box has been put through at the "CamachaHenry Royce's office in West Wittering" office as an aluminium casting. I can only conclude that this has been done with a view to getting the job going quickly, and that we shall ultimately use bakelite. I will se Mr. Royce about this when he returns from his holidays.
