RE. GRINDING OF GEARS:

Please receive herewith 1 blue print of each of the following pieces :-

Sec.6040. G.50.849 - 2nd.& 3rd.Speed Sliding Gear. 1 off.
Sec.6050. G.50.850 - 2nd.Speed Gear. 1 off.
Sec.6050. G.51.046 - 1st.& Reverse Sliding Gear. 1 off.
Sec.6050. G.51.047 - 1st.Speed Wheel. 1 off.
Sec.6070. G.51.048 - Reverse Pinion. 1 off.
Sec.6050. G.51.049 - 2nd.Motion Shaft: 1 off.
Sec.6040. G.51.050 - 3rd.Motion Shaft: 1 off.

Three sets of each of the above pieces were instructed under cover of memo - BY/C11/P.29/8/22., to be produced under experimental number X.4543:

We also send one blue print of each of the above to Mr. Broome, together with a copy of this memo.

The above drawings have been produced in order that the teeth on the Gears, and the Splines on the Shafts, may be finished ground to size, and material has been left on the sides & bottom of the teeth & Splines for this purpose.
