R.R. 3M (300 Bks.) (SF 152. 6-11-18.) MP 197880 ROLLS-ROYCE LIMITED. INSTRUCTIONS. To: EFC Order No: AB.74 Customer's No. 1 2 July 1923 X4383 Electrical Experiments on Goshawk Cars. The only dynamo experiments at present proceeding on Goshawk chassis are those in which short pieces of copper wire, carrying small pieces of fusible alloy, (melting at about 72°C) are clamped to the carcases to check the temperatures which they attain. This is fitted to the dynamos on 2GI, 3GI, 6GI & 7GI. In only three cases however are the main brushes retarded by the amount now standardized namely 3GI (dynamo R3) 4GI (dynamo 161, at W.W) and 7GI. (dynamo R1, not marked). Signed: (Contd) This Sheet must be filed on completion of the work. | ||
