48685 To Mr. Sinclare T.D. from Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Rm.{William Robotham - Chief Engineer} Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}1/LG18.2.26. With reference to the difficulty experienced in setting controls on bodied cars. We attach models of pointers and quadrants which enable the correct range of control to be adjusted without reference to the flywheel. We suggest that the simplest method of establishing is a standard for using these quadrants/to fit them up on a car in which the controls have been set to give the required results on the flywheel and note the angular movement in each case. This should represent a standard to be obtained on other cars. We should be obliged if you could let us have the models back as soon as possible.
